Just look at this. This cat is smart enough to ride on the back of a Roomba, maybe even drive the Roomba, and what is my cat doing right now? She’s sleeping in my bed, on top of my covers, because she knows I’m not mean enough to give her the boot so I can get under the blankets and get warm. So not only is my cat not cool enough to ride the vacuum cleaner and still doesn’t have a good Slinky impression, she’s also mean!

I’ll get back at her, though. One of these days, she’ll be up to her neck in surfing rats and won’t know what to do. Then I’ll be the one laughing! Well, she doesn’t laugh, so I’ll guess I’ll be the one sleeping comfortably in my bed, rather than just laying on top of my covers like a soft-hearted animal lover who is too kind to disturb an animal’s rest. Even though that animal sleeps roughly 18 hours a day, I’m still too nice to give her the boot.
