There’s nothing like a good prank. That’s the reason for the enduring popularity of April Fools Day. It’s fun to be on the giving end of a good prank, at least. Especially if you can get the hilarious response on video, like these five video-taped pranks.

I actually got pranked late last night/very early this morning by Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim lineup. I tuned in to get my nightly dose of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Squidbillies, and instead what I got was The Room. Entertainment Weekly calls it the modern Hollywood equivalent of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, except totally awful. Given that it’s a softcore porn-ish drama and Adult Swim is basic cable, the viewer got none of the film’s redeeming qualities and all of the film’s bad acting, bad green screen backgrounds, and abysmal writing.

It was so bad I couldn’t look away, though I wanted to. Ed Wood has some serious competition!
