Spring is coming, slowly but surely. The sun’s a little bit brighter, the day’s a little bit warmer, and the grass is a little bit greener as, day by day, the earth awakens from its winter slumber. It’s a great time of year for outdoor activities like golf or fishing. If you’re looking for a challenge, why not try a little traditional Sri Lankan stilt fishing?
I understand the real appeal of fishing is to hang out on a boat, soak up sunshine, relax, and get a nice beer buzz, but it’s just so boring. Wake me up if I catch something. If you’re going to fish, then do it the hard way by balancing on a bamboo pole while working the rod and reel. It’s both a test of patience and of skill!
Just be careful as to where you cast your line, because you might come back with a transparent-headed monster, Frankenfish, or some other ocean-dwelling freak.
