As someone who has been through college and who works as something of a paid writer right now, I know all about the process of sitting down at the computer for the purpose of working, only to find that work never gets accomplished. Researching something on the internet or browsing my feed reader quickly turns into playing a game or reading message boards about my favorite movies. So I can completely identify with Savannah College of Art and Design student Bang-Yao Liu’s short video “Deadline.”
That’s incredible, isn’t it? I can only imagine how many stacks of Post-It notes the director went through to do this film. I do have to admit that he perfectly captures the process of procrastination and efficiently wasting time. Now if only someone had some ideas on how to stop procrastination, then maybe this post wouldn’t be coming at you at 2 PM.
I know a lot of tricks to get myself out of it, but the hard part is making myself actually follow the recommendations.
