We’ve seen a lot of unusual pranks involving roadside equipment, but nothing quite like this. Anyone can break into a digital road sign and put up a zombie warning, but it takes some serious skill (and serious artistic talent) to turn a pile of those orange striped construction barrels into a leering comic book nightmare. This is a seriously impressive project that took a lot of planning.
I think the most impressive part of this feat is that it was constructed at night on the side of a road right out in the open. That takes a serious amount of guts. If the accused perpetrator, Joseph Carnevale, isn’t an art or engineering student, he really ought to consider changing majors. Not only is this an inspired feat of creativity, it’s also an impressive piece of on-the-fly building and planning!
