Today is President Barack Obama’s 48th birthday.  Happy birthday, Barry!  Every day, the President receives a crazy amount of gifts, and some of them are just downright weird.  Will President Obama get some maggot cheese?  Or maybe, given his lack of skill, he might want to spend some time at Harry Truman’s bowling alley!  Check out these other unusual presidental gifts.

In a way, I can understand why someone thought the President would like these many unusual gifts.  I mean, he is the leader of the free world, and there has to be nobody harder to shop for than the head of a large country with infinite resources at his disposal.  I guess when you’re dealing with that kind of guy, you kind of rack your brain to find a memorable gift.  Perhaps another unusual pet would be the perfect companion for White House Dog Bo Obama?
