Everyone does it.  You’re on the phone, in class, or in a meeting and your mind just kind of wanders.  You’ve got pens handy, you’ve got boring notes, so you’re probably going to doodle.  I know I’m a doodler, especially on the phone. However, I’ve got nothing on the people you’ll find over at Doodurl.  The things these people draw while doing other things are just incredible; fortunately now there’s a website devoted to preserving these scraps of genius from the trash bin!

For a guy who isn’t very creative, I know a lot of really creative people.  For some reason, every other person I know is a talented drawer or a photographer or a legitimate writer.  Then, there’s me.  I guess I’m the funny one?  I’m not really sure.  Either way, they’ll be sitting there and they’ll bust out some incredible scribble that they’ll just dismiss out of hand as being a piece of junk, when I could never replicate anything close to that good no matter how hard I might try.  I can barely fold a paper airplane, let alone make an origami tessellation.
