West Midlands Safari Park, near Bewdley in Worcestershire in England, is welcoming a trifecta of new additions. Home of the UK’s largest pride of white lions, the park is welcoming three new babies: Portia, Phoebe, and Pandora. The three cubs are roughly 12 weeks old, and are members of one of the rarest species on earth. If you think they’re adorable now, just wait until you see them on video.
The three cubs may look like pudgy little girls next to their older lion pridemates, but each of the three babies was born weighing 33 pounds, so they’re not as small as they look. Their white coats are the result of a mutation, and given that white isn’t exactly good camoflage for the South African jungles, the cats are extremely rare. There are only about 30-40 living, and most of those reside in zoos or on wildlife preserves.
