There’s nothing funny about violence in school.  I am against kids bringing guns to class, unless that class is trap shooting or gun safety.  In those cases, I guess it would be okay to bring them to one class.  Just not all day.  However, among the many security measures designed to protect kids these days, the dress code is the most obnoxious.  In order to justify forcing parents to buy their kids a second wardrobe just for school, some schools have decided to ramp up the scare tactics.

It’s like something from a bad comedy, isn’t it?  The bad guy confronts the good guy, who is a cop or secret agent or some other standard action hero character, and commands him to surrender his guns.  All of them!  Then the good guy spends the next 5 minutes pulling various guns, knives, and other weapons from within his clothing, each getting more and more illogical.  I swear, this kid’s baggy pants are like hammerspace!
