Four budding high-school rappers ran into some serious trouble when they made the mistake of mimicking a famous McDonald’s moment in American Fork, Utah. The four teens, led by Spenser Dauwalder, were imitating a popular viral video in which a guy raps his order at McDonald’s. The franchise’s owner says they were holding up the line. They say there was no line. The police have erred on the side of the humorless McDonald’s owner and hit the four with a ticket for disorderly conduct due to their mad busting of rhymes.
Here’s the video they were imitating. Now tell me, is this so bad that it merits a fine? It might be annoying, but that doesn’t mean it’s a crime. Especially considering that they left and were off minding their own business when the cops tracked them down and cited them. I think their major crime was leaving without buying anything to eat!
