It’s kind of a dreary, wet day here. I’m not feeling my best, I’m having a bad day at work, and quite frankly, I could use a pick-me-up. Thankfully, MLW Photography has put together an incredible slideshow video detailing a walk through Manhattan’s beautiful and famous Central Park set to the song “Life in Technicolor II” by Coldplay. It’s just what I’m needing today.
I’ve always wanted to go to New York, if only to see this park. It’s a must-visit stop on any tour of Manhattan for me, no matter what time of year I might be going, or whatever else might be going on. Even though we have some Frederick Law Olmsted parks here in Louisville (Iroquois, Shawnee, Seneca, and Cherokee parks), all four of them together are nothing like Central Park. Maybe because Central Park is in the most famous city in the world; or maybe because Central Park is one giant park rather than four very large parks.
