John Ford was caught red-handed. The 35-year-old bank robber was caught by police in Streetsboro, Ohio, just south of Cleveland. They found an exploded bank dye pack in his car. The car matched the description of the robber’s car. Also, he had a big bag of stolen money when he was apprehended. However, he wasn’t going to let the cops catch him with the robbery note. That’s why police say Ford ate the note while getting patted down.
Good thing for Ford he still has his teeth, huh? He was able to chow down on the note and get it eaten before cops could stop him. Unfortunately for Ford, he was caught eating the note on the cop’s dashboard surveillance system. Whoops! He deserves bonus points for not wanting to get caught, but considering the mountain of evidence already against him, that note was the least of his troubles. May as well spare yourself the indigestion.
