Remember in the classic cartoon How The Grinch Stole Christmas, when the Grinch broke into the houses in Whoville and stole all their Christmas presents and decorations and whatnot?  Well, in Herscher, Illinois, a woman and her children returned home from a weekend trip to find out she’d been reverse-Grinched.   That’s right, someone broke into her apartment and decorated for the holidays.

Well, as it turns out, it’s not a gang of elves spreading holiday cheer via intimidation.  It was just a friend of the family’s children, a 14-year-old girl, who broke in and played the prank.  Well, I guess it’s a prank.  Seems to me like it’s more of a favor; I mean, I love decorations, but I hate the process of untangling all those cords and getting everything put into place.  I only wish someone would put up my Christmas tree and my various holiday decorations for me while I’m out of town!
