Rick Latham was out enjoying the uncharacteristic snowy winter, or trying to.  Given that he’s a Londoner, he doesn’t have a sled handy, so he found a snowy hill and was trying to slide down it in a kayak.  When he saw a passel of bobbies approaching, he figured the fun would be over.  He thought wrong.  Those cops, who he thought were coming to arrest him, were coming to have a little fun, using their riot shields as sleds!

Of course, the madness was caught on video, and that video ended up in the hands of MPS officials.  While they’re not terribly happy about the latest incident of cops gone wild, they’re chuckling it off as a case of boys will be boys.  After all, who can resist a little snow?  Even cops can have fun once in awhile!
