Normally, when a man shoots his way out of trouble, we’re talking about some kind of Old West shakedown. However, guns are useful tools for escaping just about any situation. For example, a 28-year-old man was on his way to his security guard position at Thunder Valley Casino in Sacramento. He’s licensed and required to carry a gun for his job. When he was startled by his hands-free cell phone ringing and drove his SUV into a creek, there was only one way out. He shot his way out of the sinking vehicle.
See, it’s not all drunk cops shooting up haunted houses and jerks threatening kids for having fun; in this case, that gun might have saved a young man’s life. It’s not the traditional method of self-defense, but in a way it is. He used his gun to preserve his own life and get out of a dangerous situation unharmed. I wonder if I can find out what kind of gun he used in the Internet Movie Firearms Database?
