They say, over time, that pets start to look like their owners. But do they pick up their owner’s hobbies? Motorcycle enthusiast and off-road racer Mike Schelin would say that yes, they do. Why? Well, his dog Opee shares his love of motocross and dirt bike racing! The 8-year-old Australian Shepherd not only has his AMA and SCORE card as a certified racer, but he even has his own safety gear and survived the grueling Baja 500 cross-desert endurance race!
My dad found a dog this weekend. A little baby Australian cattle dog, in fact, barely 6 months old and still with all her baby teeth. She’s the most adorable little thing, but we’re working hard to find her the people she belongs to since we can’t keep her ourselves. Keep your fingers crossed; she’s the sweetest pup you could ever want, socialized with other animals, and the most beautiful coloration you could ever want to see. I kind of wish we could keep her, but she’s somebody’s pet. She was too clean and healthy when we found her, and she had a collar on (but no tags or microchip).
