This is great.  Pee-wee Herman is all excited about his new iPad, only to get dragged down to earth by his friends at the Playhouse, who point out just how non-revolutionary the Apple iPad has turned out to be.  If you’re a fan of the old Pee-wee’s Playhouse, or if you’re just not a follower of the cult of Steve Jobs, you’ll get a kick out of this video.  I don’t think it’s a $500 drink tray, but it’s pretty close.

Speaking of pretty close, it’s uncanny just how much Paul Reubens still looks like Pee-wee Herman, even after all these years.  Yeah, the close-ups reveal his age a little bit, but from the voice to the mannerisms, he’s still got Pee-wee down cold.  It’s borderline creepy.  Still, the show was one I grew up with, so it’s always nice to see Pee-wee back in action, even if it’s just in a viral video.
