Poor Beaker just can’t get a break. Sometimes it seems like he’s surrounded by trouble on all sides. First his catchphrase is banned from schools, and now he’s the victim of an Internet troll flaming just because he wanted to do a little singing. In this hilarious cover of Kansas’ “Dust In The Wind,” Beaker finds out the hard way just how unforgiving a wasteland the Internet can be.
I have to say, of all the 80’s properties I never expected to go viral, it was the Muppets. I figured puppetry was too expensive and they would be too busy with Sesame Street to ever pick up the Muppets and make some videos for YouTube, but here we are, and here they are. I have to say, Statler and Waldorf have really adapted to the Internet well; I guess as the original trolls, hating on everything in front of them, they’re right at home on the web!
