We’ve found out where the happiest city in America is, but now’s the time to ask just who is bringing up the rear. While there are a lot of unhappy citizens in a lot of unhappy places, a new survey reveals that the most miserable city in the United States is the so-called Mistake by the Lake, Cleveland, Ohio. This is according to a new Forbes Magazine article, ranking the unhappiest cities in the US.
Unsurprisingly, they’re a lot of places with really high unemployment. Surprisingly, Miami, Florida is one of them. You’d think that Miami is a happy place: no income taxes, nice weather, lots of clubs and bars and entertainment, multiple pro sports teams, lots of beaches to hang out at. Apparently not, as Miamians are miserable thanks to long commutes, lots of violent crime, and a high rate of foreclosures.
It just goes to show you that, if you want to find a reason to be unhappy, you’ll find one. A guy stabbing you for your wallet is a good reason to be unhappy.
