Dr. Douglas Rank has a history of getting into trouble.  He’s run afoul of the state medical board in Kentucky for a variety of unethical acts, including sex with a patient and giving out improper prescriptions, and now he’s taken his troubles past the state medical board and straight to the real police after witnesses say the good doctor got nice and drunk and attacked a woman with a sword.  Dr. Rank attacked the woman at his apartment in Covington, Kentucky, after downing a fifth of brandy with a couple of Clonezapam muscle relaxers.

Witnesses intervened during the fighting, but not before the psychiatrist and doctor of internal medicine ran an unnamed woman through with his sword several times. He’s being held on $50,000 cash bond at the Kenton County jail.  Hopefully, he’s being kept away from all sharp objects while he’s in there.

He looks like a cross between Hannibal Lecter and Kenny Rogers, doesn’t he?
