Julia Louis Dreyfus, best known as Elaine from Seinfeld and Christine from The New Adventures of Old Christine, has finally… wait a minute. That’s not Julia Louis Dreyfus getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, that’s Julia Luis Dreyfus, her non-union Mexican equivalent! Actually, the star was meant for Julia Louis, but thanks to a typo, it said Julia Luis, making it the Chilean coin of Hollywood stars.
True to form, the comedienne took the typo in stride, actually requesting that the typo be left (probably because it’s much funnier that way). However, the proper officials were alerted, and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce replaced the star with the appropriate one as soon as they possibly could to spare themselves further embarrassment.
Either way, she’s finally on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where she belongs. She’s also going to be an answer to a Jeopardy question, AND Walk of Fame officials gave her the star with the misprinted name to keep! How cool is that?
