For four years, Kim Romano has been the only bioch in New Jersey. “Bioch” is a slang term for bitch, which Romano picked for her vanity license plate as a way of expressing her outsized personality and sense of fun. Her first selection “big kim” was rendered as “b1g kim,” which was just not going to work for Ms. Romano. After a few days’ worth of brain-scrambling searching, she settled on “bioch” and for four years has turned the plate into her calling card. That is, until a few days ago, when a retired cop spotted the plate and reported Kim for the offensive license.
Kim actually wasn’t allowed to renew her registration until she gave up the plates, proving that New Jersey is serious about policing profanity on its plates. Fortunately, Kim has a new idea for her next set of vanity plates, to pay tribute to this controversy: “whaever”. Obviously, this woman simply won’t stop trying to be funny via vanity plate, no matter what you do to her! Bioch please!
