Debrahlee Lorenzana, a 33-year-old from Queens, has curves, and she can’t really hide them. That’s why, she says, she was first transferred from the Chrysler Building branch, and later lost her job at Citibank. Inundated with sexual comments from coworkers, Ms. Lorenzana says she was fired from her job for being too attractive. However, she denies dressing provocatively, insisting that her wardrobe of turtleneck sweaters, pencil skirts, and fitted suits was entirely professional and that she can’t help that she looks so good. Now, she’s filing a lawsuit against Citibank for sexual harassment and wrongful termination.
Is she hot for banking? Helpfully, the New York Daily News has a professional-clothes cheesecake gallery of Ms. Lorenzana so you can decide for yourself is she’s too hot to work in a bank. Much like the woman pulled over by cops for being attractive, I don’t really see it. I mean, she’s not bad looking, but I think she’s more workplace hot than she is just legitimately distractingly hot. I’d imagine it’s different seeing her in person, rather than in still photos.
Then again, we don’t know what she really wore to work, if she really was bad at her job like Citibank claims, if she really was punished for complaining about sexual harassment, and why her initial attempts at a branch transfer were denied. All that stuff will come out in court.
