The most important tip to surviving any sort of bad situation is preparedness. You need to get yourself ready to survive if you want a shot at surviving; nobody wants to be heating to Walmart when the zombies start breaking down your door. That’s where suckers go to die. However, it’s not just about having your survival kit at the ready or getting an early warning, you also need to get your body prepared, too. That’s why fitness instructor Jesse Randall has put out ZombieFit, a zombie survival workout program combining cardio, parkour, and lifting weights to promote the skills needed to escape from the zombie threat!
Randall, a personal trainer from St. Charles, Missouri, focuses on four key elements needed for zombie escape plans: climbing, free falls, breakaway, and hurdling. He has put together a foam-padded urban environment in which practitioners of ZombieFit work on their jumps, climbing, and falls, among other skills. “It’s about being quick and efficient with your movements,” explains Randall. “If the zombies come, you’re going to need to conserve your energy.”
