I’ve written many times about my frustrating inability to wield any kind of musical instrument. No matter what the instrument, I kind of suck at them all. Then again, I also suck at using my cell phone for anything other than making phone calls. That’s why I couldn’t play a smartphone guitar, and why I definitely couldn’t play a selection of Mozart’s Piano Sonata #11 on a bank of phones like one epic musical nerd.
The selection is “Rondo Alla Turka,” one of the most famous piano passages in history and a staple in pretty much every piano recital. As for the person playing it, I’ve got no idea who it is, because I can’t read Chinese. Whoever this guy is, I officially hate him for being awesome. Just check out the video below and tell me you’re not also insanely impressed by this guy’s combination of nerdery and musicianship.
