In the movie Death Proof, the most notable scene is when Zoe Bell, playing a fictional version of herself, hangs from the hood of a 1970 Dodge Challenger (like in Vanishing Point) from two belts while playing a game called Ship’s Mast.  In the movies, it makes for an awesome scene.  When it’s real life, and it’s a drunk guy hanging from the roof of a pickup truck, people get arrested.

The truck was stopped on I-20 after weaving back and forth across the median several times.  When pulled over, the guy driving the truck became belligerent.  He got a taste of the Taser.  The guy in the back of the truck, who smelled strongly of alcohol (like you’re surprised that drinking was involved) was cooperative with police.  No word on what he was trying to accomplish while truck-surfing.
