Adam Santarossa is living my dream life. He’s getting paid thousands of dollars to watch TV, play video games, and write blog posts for Adidas. Who wouldn’t want to live that life? There’s just one catch to Santarossa’s lifestyle: he has to live inside a giant replica soccer ball for the next month. Just check out this incredible footy-centric pad!
In exchange for living inside a giant replica of Adidas’s Jabulani soccer ball (the ball being used in the World Cup), Santarossa gets $2600 dollars, free food and drink, cleaning service, laundry, a free laptop, a PlayStation 3, three bags of sports equipment, and the contents of the ball he’s living in (a fridge, bunk beds, etc.). In exchange, his job is to watch the World Cup and write posts about it for the Man In The Ball blog and Twitter feed. That’s it. He can have friends over and otherwise live his life as normal, except for the part where he’s living inside a 19-foot-round football.
“Other people have work commitments and family commitments. My only problem is getting my blog done on time,” Santarossa said in an interview. “It’s an easy life I’m living. I’m sure people will be quite jealous.” Oh believe me, we are.
