Yidi When, the owner of Osaka restaurant in Davenport, Iowa, describes chef Christopher Turla as a funny guy, but admits his chef might need a little more training in kitchen hygiene.  That’s his response after Turla was caught on video with two toads in the kitchen.  He had them on the cutting surface.  He kissed and licked the toads.  Then he popped the two of them into his mouth.  Intelligently, his brother caught it all on video and uploaded it to YouTube.

Scott County Health Department officials were NOT amused.  Odds are Christopher Turla isn’t laughing anymore, either.  His antics as the toad-licking chef got him a $355 dollar fine.  And they weren’t even the good kind of hallucinogenic toads or a hypnotoad, either; these were just normal hoppers!

Here’s a helpful hint:  not everything has to get uploaded online.  You can keep some things for your personal, private laughs.  That is all.
