Aerosmith’s lead singer, Steven Tyler, doesn’t act his age. Despite being 62 years old, he runs around on stage, screeching and writhing like a rock front man half his vintage. However, he’s not as young as he used to be and it’s starting to show. Earlier year, Tyler fell from a stage in South Dakota and broke his collarbone, sidelining Aerosmith’s tour for 6 weeks. This year, Tyler has tumbled from the stage at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. He’s making a habit of stage-diving into the floor, isn’t he?
This time, though, it wasn’t all Tyler’s fault. While performing “Love In An Elevator,” guitarist Joe Perry backed into Tyler, accidentally (or “accidentally”) knocking him off the stage and sending him into the crowd. This time, the crowd was there to catch him, help him land on his feet, and even help him back onto the stage. To his credit, Tyler finished off the song in grand fashion, thanks to a little help from thousands of his closest friends.
The Cocked, Locked, Ready To Rock tour will continue on as scheduled.
