If you’re looking to get your holiday shopping done early this year, you’re a pretty savvy shopper. Odds are you’re the type to hit the Black Friday sales and to hunt down the best bargains you can find. Well, if you’re looking to score an iPad this holiday season, then you’re in luck. Apple has expanded iPad sales to include retailers Target and Amazon. Now you can pick up an iPad without having to make the trek to Best Buy (or the Apple Store)!
“Target is very excited to offer the revolutionary iPad to our guests nationwide,” said Target senior VP for merchandising Mark Schindele. “We are committed to providing our guests with the best products and we think iPad will be at the top of our guest’s holiday shopping lists.”
I just suggest you be careful when leaving the store, since you don’t want to lose a finger to an iPad thief. Target picking up the iPad makes sense, but I’m a little surprised by Amazon. Since the iPad is being positioned as a Kindle competitor, you’d think Amazon would want to freeze them out. Maybe Amazon isn’t worried about the iPad as a Kindle-killer.
