Like most Internet memes, it started with a real-life event.  During the Ryder Cup, Tiger Woods bombed a drive straight at a photographer for the Daily Mail, which resulted in the above image.  It started out as a lark, but has since become Internet legend thanks to the presence of one man.  It’s not Tiger Woods; we’ve seen millions of pictures of him.  It started with Cigar Guy.  Look at the right side of the image.  See the guy with the cigar in his mouth and the turban  on his head?  That’s Cigar Guy, the man behind one of the weirdest new memes on the Internet.

Cigar Guy galleries are everywhere.  He’s gone from nothing to the new People of Walmart in a matter of days.  This guy is everywhere, thanks to his big smile, wide eyes, hilarious mustache, and omnipresent celebratory cigar.  Be they classic album covers or the finest moments in sports photography, Cigar Guy is there, and he’s awesome.  Enjoy your 15 minutes of fame and photobomb hilarity, buddy.
