Call it the case of the not-so-sweet transvestite. When Dayanara Fernandez checked into the Hyatt hotel in Deerfield, Illinois, she assmued her belongings would be safe. After all, the Hyatt is a fairly nice hotel, and there’s not a lot of break-ins or sticky-fingered maids. Unfortunately for Dayanara, she was wrong. When she returned to her room after leaving the hotel, Fernandez found a male hotel employee in her room, wearing her skirt, panties, and high heels.
Now she’s suing the hotel chain, saying that they should’ve taken greater steps to protect the sanctity of her room/clothing from curious men looking to indulge their inner Dr. Frankenfurter. It’s all well and good to be a cross-dresser, but there are rules you have to follow. Namely, don’t commit criminal acts, like breaking and entering, in order to indulge your obsession with Eddie Izzard.
