Call it a macabre marriage. Call it a match made in hell. Call it George Romero’s Night of The Living Wed. No matter what you might call Andy and Tracey Monaghan’s zombie-themed wedding ceremony, Tracey calls it, “our fairytale wedding.” The couple were married in a gory ceremony in Worcester, England.
When Tracey, 29, spoke her vows to her husband, she recited the following: “I promised to take my awful rotting husband and to love and care for you as we decay together so that your rotting, bloated corpse may live for eternity beside me, or until someone removes your head.” At the conclusion of the ceremony, 36-year-old Paul was told, “You may now eat the bride.” The couple’s 6-year-old son, William, was the zombified best man.
You know what I call this zombie wedding? Awesome, that’s what it is. Why should vampires have all the wedding fun? If it makes you happy, do it. It’s your wedding, enjoy yourselves!
