Christopher Nolan is talking about his latest project, one of the most eagerly-awaited movies of the upcoming movie season, the third of his Batman films. Nolan has announced a couple of bits of information about the latest adventure of Christian Bale’s take on Batman. One of these is something about the movie, and the other is something the movie will not include. Nolan’s next Batfilm will be called The Dark Knight Rises, it will not include The Riddler, and most importantly, it will NOT be in 3D.
Nolan is notorious for keeping tight-lipped about his projects, but he let one detail slip. When asked about the villain for his upcoming film, Nolan told the LA Times, “It won’t be The Riddler. We’ll use many of the same characters as we have all along and we’ll be introducing some new ones.” He also added he’s going to shoot in HD and IMAX format, but not IMAX 3D. Other rumors about the movie have indicated that the newest villain might be Catwoman, but that could also be cover for the casting of a new love interest for Batman, or possibly a return by Vicky Vale.
So long as the Batsuit stays nipple-free, I don’t care what Nolan does.
