When general manager Nick Ginetta wanted to boost sales at his Nissan dealership in Sanford, Florida, he took a look around at his customers.  Who were buying the pickups at Nations Trucks, and how could he encourage them to open their wallets during a time of recession?  Well, after studying his clientele, Ginetta came across the magic idea:  buy a truck, get an AK-47 for free.

Lo and behold, the promotion is working like a charm.  Nations Trucks has doubled its business since the store instituted the $400 gun voucher, which can be put towards the purchase of any gun (also available in check form if you don’t want a gun, or already have too many).  The promotion kicked off on Veterans Day and runs until the end of November.  Customers seeking to get the $400 gun voucher must pass a background check and all other appropriate firearms regulations before receiving their weapon of choice.

Said Ginetta of his customers, “My buyer is absolutely a gun owner, no question.”
