It’s the holiday event that everyone can’t wait for.  It starts in September, when the Pumpkin Spice latte makes its return to the Green Monster.  After that, the special flavors start cascading in:  Caramel Brulee Latte, Peppermint Mocha, Gingerbread Latte, Eggnog Latte, Peppermint White Hot Chocolate, and Peppermint Hot Chocolate.  The tastes evoke the holidays, and this year they’re back with a special deal for those who love a lot of coffee for a little price.  Starting Friday, November 19, if you buy one holiday flavor latte at Starbucks, you get the second one free.  The drinks have to be of equal or lesser value, so you can’t buy a Tall and expect a free Trenta (but vice-versa is okay).

Of course, the deal comes with conditions, but what deal doesn’t?  The deal is only valid between 2PM and 5 PM, and it’s only good from this Friday until Sunday, November 21.  Still, a free latte is a free latte, and it’s a great excuse to head out to Starbucks and get yourself caffeinated for the afternoon.  While the flavors will be around after the holidays (until the syrup runs out), the deal won’t be.

However, there’s another deal on the horizon.  If you text the phrase “12days” to 29943, you’ll get placed into Starbucks’ 12 Days promotion, in which a different deal every day is texted directly to your phone!
