Katy Perry is just a constant source of controversy these days, and pretty much all of her controversies focus on her two big talents. Once again, Katy Perry is in the news, and once again, she’s leading with her boobs. When she’s not getting thrown off Sesame Street for her excessive cleavage, she’s telling advertisers to digitally reduce the size of her breasts on posters. Perry, who will be one of the divas performing in VH1’s upcoming special “Divas Salute The Troops,” told VH1’s ad department that her cleavage was too big, so VH1 had Katy Perry’s cleavage digitally reduced via Photoshop.
Perry, along with fellow Divas Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, Hayley Williams of Paramore, Grace Potter of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (who are excellent), Nicki Minaj, and Keri Hilson, appeared on the posters wearing revealing camouflage outfits. Only Perry wasn’t pleased with how she looked, so her team of handlers told VH1 to change the poster. The edited version was released on Wednesday evening.
You think Katy would embrace the things that have made her famous, but I guess not. Maybe she’s trying to change her image up and be a more serious artist. Or maybe she’s just flexing her muscle.
