Steve Jobs does a lot of strange things. He’s got many personal quirks (especially how he’s worn the same outfit to every press conference for the last 10 years), but among his weirder quirks is his refusal to claim several small amounts of money and property he’s apparently owed. Every year, California requires corporations to file claims stating what unclaimed property they have. Apple owes Steve Jobs $37.91 in unclaimed property, and they’re not alone.
In addition to that $37.91, Steve Jobs is owed $21.45 in stock by IBM, and another mystery charge for $14.30 (maybe he left behind an iPhone case on his last factory tour). Last year, CNN filed that they owed Jobs $0.30. It’s as if these people simply can’t find out where the guy works or something, which makes no sense because EVERYONE knows where Steve Jobs works!
Maybe CNN can just mail Darth Jobs a postage stamp and tell him to keep the change? How do you even know someone left behind 30 cents in property? Was it half a pack of gum? Someone has got to explain this!
