Leon Walker is just suffering bad news after bad news these days. Walker, of Rochester Hills, Michigan, found out via his wife’s email account that she was having an affair with her second husband. Infidelity is bad; marriages have ended over less. Things went from bad to worse when the police got involved. Leon Walker is being charged with a felony after reading his wife’s email to track her extramarital affair.
Oakland County prosecutor Jessica Cooper says Leon Walker, a 33-year-old computer technician, used his computer skills to hack into his wife’s GMail account, where he uncovered evidence of Clara Walker’s resumption of a relationship with her second husband. Her second husband was arrested for beating Clara Walker in front of her young son with her first husband. It is concern for the child which prompted Leon Walker to spill the beans on his wife’s affair.
“I was doing what I had to do,” said the now-divorced Leon Walker. “We’re talking about putting a child in danger.” Walker further complains about his depiction in the media as a villainous hacker. “It was a family computer; I did work on it all the time.” he says of the laptop he bought and gave to his wife; she kept her passwords written down in a small notebook next to the computer.
