Natalie Portman is having a pretty good year.  The actress’s latest movie, Black Swan, is a brilliant psychological thriller and it features an incredible performance by Portman as an obsessive ballet dancer driven to perfection at all costs.  She’s been nominated for a Golden Globe and looks to be in line for a shot at an Oscar if all goes well.  Not only has the film been a boon for her professional life, it has also been a boon to her personal life.  Natalie Portman is pregnant by and engaged to her Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied.

Millepied, 33, is a professional ballet dancer with the New York City Ballet.  He was born and raised in France and has been dancing ballet since he was six.  Portman, 29, is a professional actress (and has been since age 11), attended Harvard University, and was born in Israel.  Millepied was the choreographer on Black Swan and also danced the role of the Swan Prince.  It was on set that they met.
