Ted Williams, the homeless man with a golden voice whose story has capitvated a nation, seems to have some trouble in his personal life. Fortunately, it’s not a drug-related issue, but anger-related. Ted Williams and his daughter were arguing so loudly with one another that the LAPD were called in to detain the two parties and calm them both down. Williams has been staying at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa, which is where the cops were dispatched to. However, the dispute will not lead to criminal charges, according to a LAPD spokesperson.
“It was minor. Both parties were angry but there were no signs of visible abuse,” said Officer Catherine Massey to reporters. “They were brought in, calmed down, talked to, and released.”
Williams is in Hollywood to cash in on his newfound fame with television appearances, like his upcoming appearances on Dr. Phil. Speaking of cash, that appears to be the centerpiece of the fight between Williams and his unnamed daughter, at least according to TMZ. That seems reasonable.
