Your birth certificate is one of the most important documents you have.  It’s your first document, and it’s the document that basically allows you to exist as a human being.  Whatever you do, you need a birth certificate to prove you’re real.  Unfortunately for Iain Macmillan, he’s real but his birth certificate isn’t exactly accurate.  Iain’s birth certificate says the 47-year-old man is a 57-year-old woman.

“I’ll need to find out if I have to start wearing a frock or not,” laughed the 47-year-old bearded man in an interview with The Sun.  “I don’t know whether to be raging or laughing.  I can understand one mistake, but not this many.”

Macmillan, from Scone, Perthshire, contacted the Perth Registry Office for a copy of his birth certificate, only to find it littered with spelling mistakes and other errors.  According to the birth certificate, he was born in June 1963 but he arrived in Perth in 1953 as a female.  Embarrassed officials called the mistakes typing errors.

Maybe this is why Hawaii won’t release Barack Obama’s birth certificate!  It probably says he’s a 57-year-old woman, and Hawaii is just embarrassed!  It all makes sense now.
