It’s the biggest sporting event of the year. You get in line, buy your ticket early, and get one of the coveted seats for the biggest game of a lifetime. You fly to Dallas, walk into Jerry Jones’ massive new stadium, and head to your seats only to find out that you don’t have seats! Some 1250 attendees at the Super Bowl were denied seats because the temporary chairs were not ready.
Granted, not all was bad news for the fans whose seats were not ready. Of the 1250 fans displaced, only 400 of them weren’t able to be relocated to different seats. Those that weren’t found seats are being offered triple the face value of the ticket, $800 per ticket, and were also allowed to watch the game from the standing room pavilions or on the world’s largest HD television inside the stadium itself.
Still, you pay all that money and fly across the country and you can’t even sit in the seat you paid for? Triple the ticket price is the LEAST of what the Cowboys organization would owe me. Talk about losing your cool; they’d probably have to take me away in handcuffs to get me to calm down if this happened to me!
