Are you jealous that you’re not the lucky commoner getting to marry Prince William on April 29? Well, girls, former food writer turned artist Jennifer Rubell is feeling your pain and the 40-year-old New Yorker has constructed a way to fulfill your dreams. Jennifer Rubell created a wax Prince William is available for portraits outside of a London art gallery.
“Being with William is really much more about a certain kind of security than sexual desire,” said the creator of Wax William, Jennifer Rubell. “It’s the feminine equivalent of winning the lottery. William is a living Prince Charming.”
The display is pretty impressive, aside from the odd-looking Prince William. The display is set up in front of the Stephen Friedman Gallery in central London, where Rubell’s work will go on display starting today. There’s William, a replica of the engagement ring given to Kate Middleton, and even five blank pictures with rum and gin taps for toasting! A fake wedding with real souvenirs.
