With bad weather ripping through the area any outdoor activities have been canceled today, so I’m stuck in my apartment.

I’m avoiding the typical household chores like cleaning and the walls of my abode are closing in. After watching this video, I’m inspired to make music though. The performers find ways to create sounds in every room in the house, traveling from the kitchen to the bedroom to the bathroom and finally to the living room. They don’t need a piano staircase to make music, but you will likely never look at a toilet brush the same way again.

It’s reminiscent of the Broadway hit “Stomp” in that they use everyday household items, but unlike “Stomp” no garbage cans are involved. However, the performers in the Broadway musical don’t perpetrate a home invasion in order to perform.

Maybe I should brave the weather and get out of the house to celebrate National Record Store Day. Of course if I had a Roomba cat, I could sit and surf the web for more fun videos while my house got cleaned at the same time.

I’ve never had a problem eating food from a gas station.  Just two weeks ago, I ate a couple of hot dogs purchased from a gas station.  They were delicious.  That’s not the first time I’ve eaten gas station food, and I doubt it will be the last.  There’s nothing like a fun food novelty. […]
