It’s not every day that a movie franchise drops its top star, but that’s just what happened when director Michael Bay fired Megan Fox from his latest Transformers film. As it turns out, Megan Fox was fired from Transformers: Dark Side Of The Moon because she broke Godwin’s Law. When Megan Fox compared Michael Bay to Hitler, Steven Spielberg stepped in and ordered Bay to fire the hottest woman in the world.
“He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous madman reputation,” said Fox in an interview with British magazine Wonderland. “He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it’s endearing to watch him. He’s vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he’s a tyrant. Shia [Labeouf] and I almost die when we make a Transformers movie. He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do.”
According to Bay, Spielberg demanded Fox be fired for the Hitler reference, and Bay demurred to the demands of his executive producer. (Really, who wouldn’t? He’s Steven freaking Spielberg, he knows what he’s doing!) Meanwhile, British glamour model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has taken over the role of cleavage provider for Michael Bay’s giant fighting robot film, meaning that the real winner in all this was Shia LeBeouf, who goes from kissing Megan Fox to kissing a Victoria’s Secret Angel.
