In the Texas Hill Country, there’s one resource more valuable than oil, and that’s water. Specifically, fresh, drinkable water is hard to come by in places like Granite Shoals, Texas. However, there’s one man in Granite Shoals who will always have a green lawn, a freshly-washed car, and lots and lots of water on hand. His name is Terry LeBleu, and he’s the man behind the Drought-Master. Terry LeBleu has invented a machine that makes drinkable water out of thin air.
“These make pure water,” said LeBleu, who has sold his Drought-Master to local residents, including music legend and marijuana enthusiast Willie Nelson. “The water never touches the ground. It is strictly straight out of the air. We have oceans of water in the air, in the sky. All you have to do is pull it out and condense it down.”
According to tests conducted by Stevens Ecology in Mosier, Oregon, the water that the machine produces is completely free of metals, pesticides, and other bad additives. The water generated by the Drought-Master is comparable to purified, distilled water. That means LeBleu’s machine makes 5-7 gallons of drinkable water per day, powered only by an electrical outlet. It works basically as a portable condenser, creating water out of water vapor trapped in the air.
