Christine O'Donnell, shortly before turning Piers Morgan into a toad.
Everyone in America knows who Christine O’Donnell is. If you don’t know the name, then you know the former Delaware Senate nominee’s most famous campaign ad. That’s right, Christine O’Donnell is the woman who made a campaign ad that said she was not a witch. Amazingly enough, that’s something she can’t live down. Christine O’Donnell stormed off the set of Piers Morgan Tonight after O’Donnell accused Morgan of being rude during a promotional appearance for O’Donnell’s book, Trouble Maker: Let’s Do What It Takes to Make America Great Again. Let’s watch the weirdness vs. rudeness debate, shall we?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OOgvKfg7GgPiers Morgan, who took over for Larry King, is known as a newsmaker in his own right, and apparently Christine O’Donnell wasn’t ready for that when she appeared on the show. I think this is the first time anyone’s stormed off the set of a TV talk show like this when asked to discuss her political views, especially considering that she’s, ahem… a politician. Or was a politician, anyway. This whole thing shrieks of planning on O’Donnell’s part, to be honest. Seems like she just wanted publicity and decided to act accordingly. Looks like she’s getting pub now.
