When it comes to robbery, the best idea is to disguise yourself as best you possibly can. Cover yourself and hide every distinctive feature. If you have to, wear sunglasses. For one thief, the lack of sunglasses was his give-away. Nineteen year old Conor McClelland was identified by a store clerk thanks to his unusually bright blue eyes after McClelland attempted to rob a gas station. Paul Newman, eat your blue-eyed heart out.
Apparently, McClelland is a regular at the Marathon Quik Serve in Avalon, Pennsylvania. When the young man attempted to rob the store, the clerk recognized him instantly, even though he had a hood on and was covering his face. When ID’d, McClelland ran without the money; obviously, the clerk calling you by name would kind of foil your robbery. Police captured him hiding across the street from the gas station, near a building where he had been staying.
I’m sure those beautiful eyes of his will be very popular in prison.
