When it comes to any emergency situation, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. However, when that ounce of prevention fails to work, you really need to be prepared. There’s not going to be much of a warning when it comes to the inevitable zombie outbreak, so it’s best to get prepared while you can. That’s where Westlake Hardware, an 88-store chain in the midwest and plain states, comes in. Westlake Hardware has a great zombie-themed website for their store, so as to help you navigate the new reality of walkers and roamers versus survivors. Check out Westlake Hardware’s Zombie Preparedness Center.
Amazingly, they don’t discriminate. If you’re wanting to fend off the undead, brain-hungry hordes, they’ve got the tools for that. If you’re one of the undead looking to make the best of your current situation, they’ve got the tools for that, too. It’s one-stop shopping for after the zombie apocalypse! Or, I guess, before Z-Day.
Either way, this is a great idea. When you’re in a crowded marketplace like home improvement, you need an edge. Having a great, topical gimmick like this one may make all the difference when it comes to Westlake’s profit margins next quarter. The company has already seen an increase in buzz and website traffic, and I can only imagine it’ll get better from there.
